Natural Wine

Sometimes called “low-intervention” wine, “naked” wine, or “raw” wine. This is the craft beer of wine. Simply put, natural wine is more natural as it has less crap additives in it! Usually hand picked and natural/wild fermented (using the yeast already on the skin) rather than treating it with chemicals and pesticides and then introducing a lab made yeast. For those of you who are like me and you think of things in beer terms first, think of this as a wild fermentation/farmhouse wine. Funky grape juice done right. This list has been curated by the lovely Southsea Wine Siren (who you should definitely seek out for bespoke events @southsea_wine_siren) She has incredible wine knowledge and as such, I thought it only right to pick her brains for the first offering of Natural Wine at The Beer Musketeer.
